As my tactic to start selling on Amazon as an individual didn’t work out I’ve decided to start a company. It will be a limited liability company as I see this to be the best alternative due to the most real risk of being sued in the US. The things you don’t think of are the hardest things to counter, therefore I will not take the risk of losing my home because of a potential suing issue in the US. And it is always the small things that you didn’t think of that pops up and bite you in your behind.
Fortunately, the registration fee for this type of company will be lowered to about $2500 by the 1st of January 2020.
This will, of course, require me to study all the rules about starting this type of business, and that’s a lot. Oh, there is so much to get your head around regarding starting a business in Sweden. So many tax rules and other rules to fulfill. I’m doing my research now about all of these rules and studying them as I find them. One leads to another.
I’m struggling a bit to find information about tax rules for businesses that export products from a non-EU country to import to another non-EU country. I might be forced to “call a friend” on this one.
I will keep you posted on the progress.
