It’s Friday today, and I’m living a good and relaxing life right now. It’s important to take the opportunities you get to enjoy life. One of the best things I love to do is cooking. I love to do long cooks in company with my wife or good friends. This Friday it’s me and my wife that is cooking together.
Today we will serve a Texas Chili.
As we cook we take a little cooking drink of FireBall and a cold beer with music playing in the background. This is how I like to cook. A creative, tasty and very relaxed way, with a fantastic company.
We use chuck steak to our Texas Chili. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the meat unpacked, so no picture on the meat. But trust me it was a really nice piece of chuck steak.
Garlic and onions.
Pepper Chipotle, Pepper Ancho.
Piri-piri, Habanero, Jalapeño and Red Spanish Pepper.
Carnegie Porter Beer.
Added the spices cumin, oregano, spicy paprika powder, chili powder, meat bouillon, and sugar this all will cook together into this fantastic dish Texas Chili in a couple of hours. We usually let it simmer in about five hours.
As an accessory to the Texas Chili, we serve melted cheese covered Cheese Nachos and sour cream for dipping. And of course, a cold beer.
With this, I and my wife wishes you a wonderful weekend.
